The Civil Service Commission (CSC) joins the nation in celebrating the 125th Philippine Independence Day with the theme “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan”.
In his video message addressed to the 1.8 million civil servants, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said that this year’s theme emphasizes not only the importance of appreciating the country’s struggle for freedom and independence but also stresses the need to adapt to the new realities of the present to usher in the future aspirations of the country.
“We must be agile in the face of changes in the workplace, dynamic in our policies to address client demands, and flexible to ensure continuity in the delivery of public services amid any disruption.
As civil servants, the challenge now is to embrace change and adjust to new realities as we strive to build back and live a better normal.”
He then reiterated the Commission’s commitment and support to the professional development of the 1.8 million government workforce serving nationwide.
“I will champion learning and development programs designed to reinforce digital literacy skills.
