Born on October 18, 1973 to former Mayor and now the Vice Mayor TEODORO A. RAMOS and the late Madam PAULINA C. RAMOS, service to the people of Santa Maria undoubtedly runs in their blood.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree at University of Pangasinan in 1995 with good academic performance.

Backed by his experiences and knowledge of Political scene, he ran for office and was elected as Punong Barangay and garnered the unanimous votes to become the Liga President from 2013 to 2016.

He was also elected as Municipal Councilor from 2016 to 2019 and topped the highest political rank in Santa Maria, Pangasinan as Municipal Mayor from 2019 to present with a landslide victory.

In a decade of being a public servant, he gathered extensive knowledge and expertise holding Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship in various Sangguniang Bayan committees. His assumption to office as Local Chief Executive earned him several prestigious awards and recognitions such as Outstanding Sangguniang Bayan Member in the Province, Child Friendly Local Governance Award, Regional Awardee of Anti Drug Abuse Council Award, and the recently concluded Seal of Good Local Governance given only to local governments with good governance practices while providing better public services.

He has consistently attended learning and development seminars and workshops to provide his constituents responsive, competent, and innovative service including effective local legislation and legislative education, gender and development, local governance and public service resilience, transportation development, education and sports development, safety environment program, LGU Revenue Code, Investment Code, Children’s Code, and resource mobilization.

Mayor Ramos is happily married to MADAM MARIA DORIZA V. RAMOS, Liga ng Barangay President. They are blessed with a son: TEODORO V. RAMOS III.
