The Department of Social Welfare and Development Regional Field Office I has started distributing the social pensions of indigent senior citizens together with Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Headed by OIC-MSWDO Kristian R. Sta. Cruz and OSCA President Rufino T. Parinas. Through the effort of the Local Chief Executive Hon. Julius C. Ramos the request for cash transfer for SOCPEN was granted for more convenient distribution for indigent seniors. Also recognizing the effort of Child Development Workers during the distribution. A heartfelt message were given by ABC PRES Maria Doriza Ramos, SBM Noela Agpawa Manicdo and SBM Gian Franco Ginez to our vaalued senior citizens.
The pensions that are being given are for the first semester of 2023, covering the period of January to June. The distribution was assisted by the office of Municipal Treasury headed by Municipal Treasurer Elvira M. Buen together with the office staffs.
Senior citizens who will claim their pensions are required tto present the original and photocopies of their senior citizen ID and a valid government ID (including three signatures and thumb maarks on the copies).
Authorized representative who will avail of the pensions on behalf of the senior citizen listed in the DSWD program must bring the original and copies of the senior’s IDs, as well as their own valid government ID, an authorization letter (signed and thumb marked by the beneficiary), a barangay certification, and a printed photo of the senior citizen with the representative as proof of life.
DSWD and LGU personnel will strictly only accommodate claimants who will present complete, accomplished requirements. Claimants are also urged to follow their designated distribution schedules.
